Lip Enhancement

Lip enhancement usually refers to augmentation of the lip either upper , lower or both. Although there are surgical procedures which can be offered in select patients, the vast majority of lip enhancements may be achieved with a variety of fillers eg restylane (temporary) or artesense (semi-permanent).

C02 Laser Resurfacing Perioral (mouth)

Because of the sensitivity of the lip, Dr Bartlett usually anesthetizes the area with a nerve block prior to using a filler to augment the lip. In addition to augmenting the lip, fine vertical lip lines can be addressed with a filler or alternatively may be managed with laser resurfacing

Restylane injection of vermillion–cutaneous (red-white) border of lip and injection of fine lip lines

Artesense injection of red-white border of lip

Laser resurfacing of perioral area – almost eliminating fine and deeper lines around mouth (skin still slightly pink 3 weeks after procedure, fades by 2 – 3 months)
