Fillers are materials injected into and deep to the skin to manage creases such as nasolabial folds, crows feet around the eyes, frown lines, as well as lip augmentation.

There are other fillers designed for more significant depressions or deficiencies such as augmenting cheeks, chin and deeper facial folds.

Fillers can be classified as temporary , semipermanent and permanent.
